Intro Blog
Hi my name is Jenna Lytch, I am a student at Fort Lauderdale High school and I'm in the 11th grade. I was born and raised in California for 14 years and moved to Florida the summer before freshman year. Moving across the country put me in a situation of adapting to a new environment and making new friends. By moving and going to FLHS, it allowed for new interests and introduced me to the LAW and Cambridge program. With having an interest in photography, art, and movies AICE media studies stood out to me. So far the class has been easy going and fun. When learning to do assignments about something I enjoy the work feels less of a hassle to get done. Additionally, with school being in a virtual environment AICE media studies seems to work well on the computer, because most of what we are learning is also through technology. If i'm not at home doing hobbies like art and photography, I am out playing lacrosse. I was introduced to lacrosse at FLHS during my sophomore year. I then also started playing on a travel team during the end of summer for a team called Blue Roses. Since then, lacrosse is something I love to do and want to continue to play into college. The sport is something that motivates me to work harder and create new goals for myself. Moreover, with this school year starting in a virtual environment I hope to use more time to focus on school and what classes I need to work on. I am dedicated and well grounded when it comes to my interests. Without knowing me much I come off as shy and reserved. People often think because im quiet in class and around new people I am always shy. However, I can be reliable, caring, and outgoing when people have gotten to know me. This year I hope to improve my skills in school. Certain subjects don't come easiest to me so focusing on my challenges will help me for the future. Overall, this is a little about me and my interests. I look forward to taking this class and I hope to improve my knowledge on Film and camera techniques used in this subject.
