Planning for commercial

Product

For my commercial project I decided to have it based on Tabasco. This brand of hot sauce was created in 1868. The product is seen almost everywhere and is often on hand when eating a restaurants.

Colors and Theme

The theme of this commercial will be upbeat and engaging. I will include vibrant colors such as greens and reds to corelate with the product. Additionally, I will have multiple flavors and colors of the brand to create contrast and diversity within the commercial.

Lighting

The main lighting I'm going to use is Three-Point Lighting. This style of light will allow me to illuminate the scene and create dimension within the product. If it is possible I will use my LED lights to add different colors to the videoing, and a change in the layout.

Props

Props I will include are peppers, background colors/papers, and a person holding or using the product. Additionally, food may be included to show the variety of things consumers can use this product for.

Location

The location will be in open areas inside and outside of my house that have good lighting as well as space for a set up. Outside lighting may benefit my idea because it adds warm tones and a shine to the bottle. Filming the commercial inside will allow me to add different backgrounds and lights near the product.

Back up plan

If my plan was to film outside then a back up may be changing my setting to an inside environment. Moreover, I was planning on using my canon camera but if there is technical difficulties then I can switch to my phone camera.

Schedule

I will use a schedule when filming to create a good plan and time management. This may include..
