Filming for Music Video Part 2!
For my second day of filming, I focused on the intro and ending of my music video. For the first few scenes the video is a over the shoulder shot of actor #1. As I brought the camera closer you can see her looking at photos. Because we took the photos from the dancing scenes in the previous filming day, we could now get them printed. We planned to print about 5 of these so there was a variety as if she is looking through an album. For this prop we would go to Walgreens and pick up the photos we choose. After we got the photos we then began filming. For this scene we had to make sure that the photo in her hand matched the scene where they are at the dance. It gets darker earlier now so we had to pick the best time for lighting. The opening scene was shot in a more brighter setting so the actor and pictures were able to be seen clearly. These scenes were actually harder to film because the photo had to eventually be close enough to the camera for the transition to work. Additionally, for these scenes Actor #2 was only in the photo but wasn't in the begging and end. When filming the clothing was more casual today than the other scenes. However, when filming we did run into a small problem. In the setting where I filmed we had already put up our Christmas decorations. The problem with this is that the music video says "do you remember , the 21st night of September". Because the video takes place in September we had to make sure all our decorations couldn't be seen in the video. After I think I have filmed all the scenes I am then going to start uploading the videos. From then on, if I see I am missing some stuff or the film was bad I will go back and re-film.
