Choosing costumes and design
Costumes and design bring a character to life. Today I looked for clothes of mine that I can use for my film. Many of the items I will need I already have so this helps me from not having to buy too much. In total there will be about 3-4 outfits at least. This will include actor #1, and a possible delivery man. Actors #1 costume will be simple/ casual. Because actor 1 will be in their "house" and just going through a normal day, they will not need to be in super formal clothes. The delivery man or woman on the other hand will need a uniform-type outfit. This can include a brand shirt, hat, pants, etc. Because it is the opening scene there would be no need for SFX yet. In my genre, this has to do with fake blood, makeup, silicone, etc. The plot of the pitch idea will play out but because of the time limit, it will be short. Additionally, designs will play in with the costumes. By this I mean the colors, edits, and background will play a role in the design. This can help with the genre film and presenting it through the filming. Moreover, design can also be called a "design concept". This concept may be established by the director (me). In some cases, there is a selected person that focuses on this aspect when working on the movie/show. They are responsible for the visual concept. Location, lighting, and camera angles are also used. Because I am working alone I will need to see and identify this on my own.
