Preparation Filming
Today was the last day of school before break. Today I had a lacrosse game again but because it was a PSD I had extra time beforehand. I took out my camera and cleared space so when I travel I can film. Around 1:00 pm I filmed some clips outside and inside to try out different angles. Last project my camera wouldn't zoom in smoothly. So for this one, I took tester videos and learned to zoom in and keep a steady hand. Additionally, I had my mom help out with moving clips. For example, we filmed one as the door opened so we can see what it would look like on film. In the final task, I plan to have some Title names as the door opens. Then I had my mom sit in the driver's seat of her car, and we filmed clips of this. In the final task, there will be the same person looking at each other from different cars. For my idea to work the camera angle and person will have to be positioned correctly. When my mom was in the car we noticed that the windows are too tinted to be up. So when we film again we will need the windows to be down in order to see who is driving. For my final task, I still need to decide which car we will use. It is between a truck and a Nissan. I might end up using both because the two people will have to be in different cars. This will distinguish between the two characters and show there is a "clone". or twin. The filming practice was easier than expected and I believe it really helped out what directions I need to go in.
